Younger people enjoy playing online multi-player games, role-playing games, and shoot-em-up, save the universe games. But for me, there is nothing to compare with playing card games with friends and family. But as we get older, our friends and family move away, and it gets harder to get together. Back during the Covid lock down days I created an online Hand and Foot card game so that my wife and I could play Hand and Foot with my siblings and their spouses. The game was a big success, and we still play it together on a weekly basis. Sometimes we're able to get together, and even then we often use our tablets and laptops to play the game online - what can I say - it saves shuffling, counting points, and reduces errors. We enjoyed it so much that I added several more games as well.

Easy to play. Games are very user friendly. No complicated right click, left click, CTRL-Shift-Alt key combinations required. No need to drag or swipe anything from one point to another. Everything is done by either tapping your screen or by left clicking your mouse. This makes it ideal for playing with older family members; and for grandparents to play with grandchildren.

To get maximum enjoyment, you'll want to use Zoom, Skype, phones, or anything similar to talk to each other while playing. This way, you're not just visiting; you're playing games, talking, and visiting all at the same time.

Fun online games for 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 players

Route 66 Game:  To WIN the game, be the first to travel historic Route 66 from Chicago, Illinois to Santa Monica, California. There are two versions of the game available: Advanced and Easy. In the Advanced version, players play cards on themselves or other players. In the Easy version, players roll a dice to determine if they move ahead or are temporarilly stopped due to Side Trips or Road Hazards. See details here.
Up and Down the River Game:  This is a fun game where the number of cards dealt to each player changes each round, increasing or decreasing by one depending on whether you are going "Up the River" or "Down the River". Each round players bid how many tricks they can take. Winner is the player with the highest score after all rounds have been played. The game uses a single deck with no jokers. Scoring is automatic. See details here.

Lucky Paw Game:  Each player is dealt 3 cards which they will take turns playing on the 4 Play Stacks at top. The card played must be one higher or lower then the card it is played upon. When no one is able to make a play, then another 3 cards are dealt to each player, being placed left to right on the top of the players stacks. Play continues. See details here.
Six Card Golf Game:  Each player starts with 6 cards face down. They then pick 2 cards to turn over. Players take turns using cards from the draw pile or the discard pile to replace one of their 6 cards. The game continues until one player has all six cards face up. Scoring is based by adding up the values of the cards in each column. See details here.

Pinochle Card Game:  Choose Single Deck or Double Deck standard Pinochle, or try 5 Card Pinochle, 6 Card Pinochle, or 7 Card Pinochle. Play partners or Cut-Throat (non-partners). Choose bidding auction, as well as Bid or Bunch, and Shoot the Moon. Choose Meld and Trick scoring values. Scoring is automatic. See details here.

Guests always play FREE. Guests are players who have been invited to play by the Table Host.

Who pays? Table hosts pay $48 for a full year to host a table. Host then invites 1-6 guests to play online. Try 2 weeks for only $2 to see if you like the game. Host fee allows you to host 1 table, which can be used to play any of the games on this page.

No need to download an app. That's right. Many games played online require you to download an app from Google Play or Apple Store. This game is played online over the internet. No need for players to register or enter in special information such as credit card numbers.

House rules set by host. Each game supports different options and features, allowing for different rules. For example, in Golf the host can chooses how many cards are turned over at the start of play. In Hand and Foot the host chooses whether or not Red 3's can be exchanged for new cards. In Pinochle the host chooses whether trumps must be played if player is unable to follow suit.

Teams Many of the games support either Team Play or Team Scramble. Team Play is usually 2 or 3 players per team, and requires either 4 or 6 players. In Team Scramble players are divided into two teams (odd vs even player numbers). Each player scores their own points. The team score for that round is the best score of it's team members.

Play on almost any device. Requires online internet connection and a browser (Microsoft Edge, Apple Safari, Firefox, Samsung Internet, Chrome, etc.) The browser needs to have Javascript enabled on it (this should be a browser setting). We have played this game using desktops and laptops, Chromebooks, iPads, tablets, iPhones, and Smartphones but we recommend using devices with a minimum of 8 inch screens to avoid too much scrolling. We have found that a 10 inch tablet/iPad display screen works quite well. Some users have reported that very old devices are not able to play the games. Generally if your device can still be updated then you should have no problem playing the games.
